Introduction :

Nutrition is a basic human need and a prerequisite for healthy life. A proper diet is essential from the very early stages of life for growth, development, and active life. Food consumption, which depends on its production and distribution, determines health & nutrition of the population.

Maintenance of optimal nutrition and positive health of the population through assured nutrient intake continues to be a national priority. Good nutrition is the fundamental basic requirement for positive health, functional efficiency, and productivity.

Nutrition has major effects on health. Nutrition refers to the availability of energy and nutrients to the body's cells in relation to body requirements. Malnutrition refers to any imbalance in satisfying nutrition requirements. The synergistic effects of inadequate or improper food intake, repeated episodes of parasitic or other childhood diseases such as diarrhea, and improper care often cause malnutrition among children during illness (Pelletier 1994; Ruzicka and Kane 1985).

Maxximmun is a one of a kind of a dietary supplement that combines the goodness of colostrum and vegetarian DHA.

Facts about Colostrum :

Bovine colostrum is the pre-milk liquid produced from the mammary glands of cows during the first 24 to 48 hours after giving birth. It is used as a therapeutic agent because its constituents are almost identical to those present in human colostrum. It contains numerous compounds that affect more than 50 processes in the body.
Over the past two decades more than 2003 research papers have been published that are supportive of both colostrum and its numerous components.

Dr. Daniel G. Clark's basic message that is printed on the back cover of his book Colostrum, Life's First Food he states:
"Bovine colostrum rebuilds the immune system, destroys viruses, bacteria, and fungi, accelerates healing of all body tissue, helps lose weight, burn fat, increase bone and lean muscle mass and slows down and even reverses aging."
Bovine colostrum has been used therapeutically by the Ayurvedic physicians for thousands of years in India. The essential components of colostrum can be broken down to two categories: growth factors and immune system factors.

Growth Factors:

Growth factors contained in Colostrum are instrumental in promoting rapid healing and repair of damaged tissues. The youthful "side effects" include more energy, elevated moods, smoother skin, better digestion and weight loss.
⦁ Growth hormone (GH)
⦁ Platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF)
⦁ Insulin-like growth factor-I and II (IGF-1 and IGF-II)
⦁ Transforming growth factors A & B (TgA and B)
⦁ Epithelial growth factor (EgF)
⦁ Fibroblast growth factor (FgF)

Immune system factors:

The immune factors in Colostrum provide protection against bacteria, toxins, virus and disease.
⦁ Immunoglobulins: These are the most abundant immune factors , found in colostrum, which neutralizes microbes and toxins in the lymph and circulatory system and destroys bacteria.
⦁ Lactoferrin-anti-bacterial, an antiviral, anti-inflammatory, iron-binding protein with therapeutic effects in HIV, cancer, Cytomegalovirus, Chronic fatigue syndrome, herpes, Candida albicans, and other infections. Lactoferrin helps deprive bacteria of the iron they require to reproduce and releases iron into the red blood cells therefore enhancing oxygenation of tissues.
⦁ Proline-Rich Polypeptide (PRP) - a hormone that regulates the thymus gland, down regulating an overactive immune system, stimulating an under active immune system or as seen in autoimmune disease (MS, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, scleroderma, allergies, etc.)

Facts about Vegetarian Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA):

Today, omega 3 fatty acids are an object of considerable medical and nutritional research for a wide range of human health conditions and disorders, including inflammation, joint and bone health, menopause, aging and obesity.
Two of the most popular sources for omega 3's are found in flaxseed and fish oil. Flaxseed is regarded as a functional food or nutraceutical because it contains three powerful health components: the omega 3 fatty acid, alpha-linolenic acid (ALA); lignans, a major class of estrogen-like compounds, and soluble fiber.
DHA used in maxximmun is 100% Vegetarian, derived from Flax seeds. DHA is the longest and most unsaturated of the omega-3 fatty acids. Necessary for the proper development of brain function in growing children. It plays a very important role in the development of proper growth and development of the brain and nervous system.

Functions of DHA in the Body
Required for the development of the retina of the eye.
Required for proper growth and development of the brain and nervous system

Doses
3 Capsules should be taken on an empty stomach without any food or other supplements (at least 30 minutes before you eat or at least two hours after you eat) with 8-12 oz. of water. We might recommend before breakfast, and then again several hours after lunch, or an hour before dinner. Try to get into a regular routine so you always remember. The immune factors in Colostrum work best if they are helped to reach the small intestine - and the best way to achieve this is to take capsules followed with plenty of water.
